Can anyone identfiy these? - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I need help with two segments. The first is a police chief who killed his wife (or girlfriend) and dumped her body near an Indian reservation. he did so because it knew it would cause jurisdiction problems. He was arrested. What is the name of the guy in this segment and is it on any of the volumes (I have 1 -11 so far and have watched all of them but don't recall if this segment is on any).

The second is a of a guy whose wife disapperad (he is a suspect). a few days after her disappearance, he is at a gas station and sees her in a van. He hollers and she ducks down. Again, what is the name of this segment and is it on any of the volumes? It is similar to the Nichols segemnt (but not the same one because I have seen the Nichols segment numerous times. "That's just totally wrong.")

another segment is the one wher ethe guy is suspected of murder but blames it on his identical twin brother who was supposedly in the same city at the same time

That is the Final Appeal segment of Frederick Young. He was convicted of robbery but claims his twin brother Cedric is responsible.

The first one you spoke of is Greg Webb. It's on the bizarre murders box set by Lifetime, so it will probably not make its way to CD's collections.

I have the third one you mentioned, but can't remember the names offhand.

Well I'm not sure but could this one be the Linda Sherman segment? Its one of the newer ones and I haven't seen it in ages but it seemed like the husband claimed he saw her after she disappeared. This is the case where her skull was found quite a bit later in front of a restaurant where her husband frequented. Although to my knowledge he's never been charged with her murder it was speculated on the segment that he possibly placed her skull there knowing it would be found and Linda would of course be declared dead and he could marry his girlfriend.

ahh yes the linda sherman case. Actually let me preface this with the fact that I also very much dislike Greg Webb...taking advantage of that poor girl.

Anyways, I remember the Linda Sherman case quite well. I recall that she and her husband were having some marital issues. Later on in the segment, Don Sherman took the daughter to school which was something linda always did, and after she left for work that day, never came back. (Red Flag, there was a lengthy gap in between people seeing her)! They found her car at the airport or something, and her friends agreed that she would not have left w/o her child (don't remember if it was a boy or girl) Then, the police found a human skull in the bushes outside don's favorite restaurant, but never linked the two cases until a letter showed up claiming that the local PD had her skull. The dental records matched, and Don was immediately a suspect. However, I don't recall him seeing her after she vanished, nor have I ever seen any updates concerning if they ever found the rest of her.

ahh yes, the Linda Sherman case, I don't think this one has ever been discussed much. in any event, i thought the husband was way guilty.
