This will be the TV low for TVland for 2008. 2007 was adding the Friday Night movie.

Remember this show from the WB...HIGH SCHOOL REUNION? Well it is coming to TVland!!!!!! HOW CAN TVLAND CALL THIS ORIGINAL PROGRAMMING WHEN IT ALREADY AIRED ON ANOTHER CHANNEL!? This is from the TVland website:

From the creator of “The Bachelor”, High School Reunion is an exciting reality series for TV Land that reunites a group of high school classmates for the first time in 20 years and sends them to an exotic location for an extended, two-week reunion. We’re searching for the perfect High School Class of ’88 to take part in this great adventure. High School Reunion had three successful seasons on the former WB Network. Season One - featured members of the Class of ’92 from Oak Park-River Forest High School, Season Two - featured members of the Class of ’93 from Round Rock High School and Season Three - featured members of the class of ’94 from Cardinal Gibbons High.

It’s not a game and there are no eliminations. The classmates are there for something more valuable than money—the chance to go back in time and take care of any unfinished business—the chance to pursue unresolved relationships, romances and rivalries.

What would you do if you had the chance to go back in time and do high school all over again? Would you pursue the person you’ve been dreaming about for twenty years? and I thought they had reached a new low with their reruns of "EXTREME MAKEOVER-HOME EDITION".

And they're rerunning "JUST SHOOT ME" starting later this month! My god; that just started on NBC 10 YEARS AGO!! What's next; reruns of "SIENFELD" and "AMERICAS NEXT TOP MODEL"?

To be fair though, they're probably getting pressure from Viacom (their parent company-they also own VH1, Comedy Central, and MTV) to do all this to attract younger viewers, and a lot of people at TV LAND are also against them doing all this.

I surprise even myself by saying this, but I'm ready for TVLand to just disappear. I used to really love that channel and it kills me to watch it die a slow and painful death like this.

Why in thhe world would anybody want to watch somone's high school reunion of people that we don't even know?

I don't even want to attend my own high school reunion
