Parade Magazine. Readers voted her most annoying giving her almost 50% of the votes while paris hilton was a distant second with 24%.

The difference between Rosie and Britney is that Britney has cameras in her face, something she obviously doesn't like. Rosie on the other hand, had cameras in her face because of The View. Rosie used the View to spew (shout?) her views, opinions and other ideas. Britney is being followed around everywhere she goes and the tabloids and the papparrazi think we want to hear every little detail abt her when in fact I think it is safe to say NO WE DON'T. So, Britney can't be considered annoying when she has no control over the media splashing her all over the screen and magazines. Rosie on the other hand...

You do realize that on many occasion, she's been the one who phoned the photographers to let them know where she was going? I just watched a biography thing on her and when she first split from K-Fed that's what she was doing hoping to get her name back in the news constantly. Well it worked girl~!

Diana used to do the same thing. And as much as I always admired and reveered her, she got more than she asked for at times. That's what happens when you play games with the media.

However, I don't think Britney deserves it. I'm softening on her a lot and not being as judgemental - she just needs help and lets hope in 2008 she comes around and gets it.

Rosie just needs to be tossed into the Grand Canyon - period. Nobody wants to hear from that loudmouthed b*tch anymore. I used to like her when she had her show, but she's just gone crazy the past few years. Hope she's saved and invested her money cuz her career is dead!

god, i cannot stand her. she was hogging the limelight most of last year, well in contrast to britney, paris and lindsay that is. if rosie hadn't opened her big mouth and courted attention everywhere she went, then perhaps a lot of us would respect her more as a person. on the other hand...

It has been stated many times that celebs do call the media to tell them they will be somewhere or showing up at various locations, etc. However, one must remember, their publicists will do that, their agents, managers, etc. So it can't be said that the celebs themselves actually pick up the phone. Those who work for the celeb want to continue to get paid and need the celeb to be in the spotlight, at all costs. I wonder how many times the celeb is even aware of their own employees doing that? I am sure Britney, if she in fact did it herself, did so to help get her name out there to show the world that with or without K-fed, she is coming back. But after her appearance with Matt Lauer, I can't fathom she would cry abt the papparrazi hounding her if she in fact played a part in that. I wouldn't take the word of a papparrazi either if they said Britney called them either. They get so much flak for the work they do, of course they would try and make the celeb look bad by saying such stuff.

I heard and read that people who didn't like Diana, make those statements that Diana, Princess of Wales, called the media herself for various reasons. Seeing that Diana was hated as much as she was loved, those who work for Prince Charles and the royal family would do anything to make Prince Charles look good, even at the cost of Diana. I am a Diana fanatic, and from my point of view, the only ones who said Diana made those calls are people I would not consider Diana's "friends" but merely those who tilt towards making the royal family look good.

The one person I believe who does call the media herself or has her agent do so, is Pam Anderson. One of the reasons Kid Rock filed for divorce -and he said so on Larry King Live - was because Pam was doing that and he couldn't live with the media in their faces the way they were. He understood at red carpet events and other media events that is a part of life, but he didn't get how Pam felt the need to live in front of the camera during her personal time.
