Ghostbusters 3 Still A Possibility - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Last we heard Aykroyd was considering doing a CGI "Ghostbusters 3" rather than live-action. As the actor/writer (he's got two screenplays for a third and fourth "Ghostbusters" film in his drawer) was able to convince all the original actors (including the usually anti-Ghostbusters Bill Murray) to provide their voices for the upcoming "Ghostbusters" game, that, I'd say, is still a definite possibility.

an animated Ghostbuster movie would be fun, if they can get everyone to come back and do the voices.

I'm not too crazy about CGI, but if they get Bill Murray on board I'll watch it.

I wonder if Bill would "sink" to doing another Ghostbusters. Ever since Rushmore, he's only done pretentious indie type comedies. Granted, some of the movies he did before he went indie were for the birds (like The Man Who Knew Too Little), but it doesn't take away that he did some great comedies in the 80's and early 90's

Somehow, I seriously doubt Bill Murray will ever even bother to look at another Ghostbusters script.

I admit that I enjoyed Lost In Translation and Life Aquatic a lot, but I really do miss the "goofy" Bill Murray from What About Bob or Scrooged.
