David Bowie's "Box"

While I have been patiently waiting for a new album from the man, his last album being in 2003 (however, considering the man is 60, has a young daughter and pretty much had an album out at least every other year plus touring since 1967 until 2003, he's deserved the right to take a break), I definately enjoy his latest release to tidy us over. "Box" is precisely what it says, a box set containing lp replica sleeves of his five most recent albums, dating 1995-2003. However, instead of just a boring reissue set, each album is given the deluxe treatment, giving each album a bonus disc from anywhere between 8 to 17 bonus tracks, be it b-sides, unreleased tracks, live versions or remixes from that period (and considering his biggest hit of the 90's was the Trent Reznor non-album remix of "I'm Afraid Of Americans", which differed greatly from the version from the Earthling album, this is a sound investment).

Granted, I think just about everyone agrees that 1970-1980 without a doubt Bowie's prime and heyday, but after some dismal albums in the mid/late 80's, all five of these albums once again give something to offer, and if you're either a seasoned Bowie fan, or newbie getting into his catalog, you should get it before it's gone.
