You know, I wonder abt that only because the Carmen character was soooo dumb many times and the actress is in fact the opposite. She authored a book and graduated at the age of 15 from high school. I sometimes wonder if the actress felt the Carmen character was being played like a fool sometimes and it wasn't working for her. Ok, have the character be "off" once in a while, but there is one time where the Carmen character really came out of left field. When her boyfriend left her and she assumed he would be coming back to her. She was getting ready to plan a wedding and so forth. It was like a Chrissy moment from Three's Company.

As for your comment abt Angie trying to compete with Veronica, that too was crazy. Angie is very very insecure, we get that, but to try and compete with a young family member is unbelievable. Maybe if a hot, young next door neighbor were the one she was jealous of, that would make more sense.
