I got The Rookies and Fantasy Island.
My friend wanted Jeffersons S 1 so I got S.W.A.T.

With amazon prime the dvds get her lickety split (2 days)

This probably sounds insane, but I got 8 DVD's which I haven't gotten yet. I originally was only going to get 4, but it was buy one get one free-LOL. I got all 4 Soap season sets, Benson season 1, Maude season 1, All in the Family season 3, and All in the Family season 6, which I didn't own yet.

Is this a safe & reliable site to get dvd's? I've never ordered anything from amazon so I was just curious about it.

it's pretty secure - I've ordered many things off Amazon before, and only had a problem once.

I had a problem twice. Neither time was their fault and their customer service was excellent. I like to pre-order a lot because I know I'll be getting around a 30% discount off retail.

Anyway I got Good Times S2 (I've had S1 for about 3 yrs but only now got around to getting S2) & Jeffersons S6. I think now they took Jeffersons S6 off the sale? I wonder why. Anyway I may buy more.

yeah, I noticed that too. Maybe it sold out, because usually the DVD's included in the sales for Amazon are still on sale until the sell out. There were a few other DVD's they either took off or raised its price.

I already have seasons 4 & 5 of All in the Family so I might get seasons 1-3 and 6. It comes out to only about $11 per season!

You cant beat 11.00 for a season of your favorite show on DVD--even if you havent seen it before aka SWAT LOL

It seems as if this particular sale is on Sony titles only. I purchased the first seasons of Benson, Maude and Silver Spoons, the second season of Diff'rent Strokes, the complete series of The Tick, and the fifth season of All In the Family (for The Jeffersons' pilot).

Thanks for the information about the site, I checked it out last night and they had quite a few to pick from.
I ordered All In The Family season 1 & 2, Hazel season 1 and The Flying Nun season 2.
