This place had been painted up in the red and green so long that I'd almost forgotten what it looked like blue.

Yes, but I LOVE BLUE. I loved the Christmas feel, but I missed my blue. It is my fave color.

Same here! I know the traditional Christmas colours are red and green, but I've always hated them together! Kinda glad the season is winding down in that aspect.
