Question Teddy + Jinny, Good or Bad?

Hey! How many of you people think that Teddy and Jinny make a good couple? I think that they do and I hope that they stay together!

I know my OPINION on this issue is not going to be a particulary popular one, but here it is:

I finally saw the episode where they first hooked up in a way a few weeks ago and that sealed it in my opinion. Teddy has absolutely no personality and is a leach. He genuinily does care for Jinny, but that is treading a very dangerous line on obsession. As a couple, grass is more exciting to watch grow then watching them. There's nothing to make me want to root for them. A word of warning: The ax will fall sooner or later because this is television and living happily ever after is boring.

I know with what I said some of you are probably ready to hunt me down, but it is JUST MY OPINION. You ask, you get it!!

Ok... well i like trhem together... but if a ax falls, it will be jinny chopping his head off... which she should have done when he implyed that she was out sleeping with some guy(which she probably was) But it was still a crapy thing to say because she has a male friend thats not him.

Teddy is undeniably cute, and as much as I would like to see them stay together, 1 and 1 isn't equaling 1 in this equation. I agree that Teddy is border line possesive, and although Jinny isn't minding it now because she is used to nobody caring at all, she will eventually mind. Plus, her drinking issues haven't come center stage yet, so it should be interesting how that turns out...

Something that I continue to find intriguing though is that Teddy keeps saying "I have a past, too."

Well what is it?!?!? I hope they elaborate on that subject more.

I do think Teddy has a personality though and is pretty sweet.

Just my OPINION.

I have to say that I like Jinny and Teddy together, but sooner or later (like you guys are saying) something is gonna happen like with Jinny's drinking or some other thing from her past. But for now, I am just gonna enjoy watching them, cuz I do! Well, and because Teddy's just so enjoyable to watch! ;-)

First and formost I really like Jinny and Theodore together. They have such fantastic chemistry together. Which I don't think they would just hook up Theodore and Jinny together and have them have such great chemistry then the rest of the cast with their husban/boyfriends,and then completely break them off. As you guys said the Axe May fall, but I personally think they could work it out. They're both pretty vocal characters. Like I have told a friend of mine. They MAY break them up eventually, but I think they'd have them back together sooner or later. Why would they just "break" off such great on screen chemistry after they have found two actors that can pull it off. Just to see Jinny go back down hill. I'm just saying they'd be stupid to break the Jinny & Theodore relationship off and cut him out of the picture for good. I am not saying they will never have anymore fights,HEY everyone have fights. The last fight of theirs they were both eager to work it out. Which I think will keep them together. Just my Opinion.

Magda : "What would you do if a guy didnt call? "
Jinny:"Oh, they always call. They want to know me, they want to be a part of my life. They want to share."
Magda: "But if they didn't? "
Jinny: I would breathe a great big sigh of relief unless of course I liked him then i would just hunt him down and slash his tires.

Note: This is my objective opinion!

I didn't care too much for him in the ep when they first worked together but I THOUGHT something was gonna happen! I think if something ever happens to the relationship I think it wouldn't be forgotten easily. Eventually, their either gonna end it or take it to a higher level. Like in the season finale, there's supposed to be a big surprise. My vote is either, Angela's pregnant, Jinny and Teddy are engaged (Yeah, I can see this happening! But it's nice to think about!), Magda's son's father comes into the picture, C.D.'s husband does something, or something happens to Cpt. Jr.
But, then again, who knows...

Once again this has been my opinion

Okay...i'm not gonna get into a long long thing about this...but I think that if they hook up Jinny's going to turn into a romantic bore. I think that Teddy has no personality what-so-ever and should be off the show. But if they are together it would be okay.

Wow, more people feel the same way about this than I had anticipated! There are some simple facts about love that everyone needs to keep in mind:

1. The overall cuteness of a couple cannot make up for the fact that 1/2 of the couple doesn't have much personality.
2. I know some of you think it's really quite cute how Teddy got jealous. Well, it really isn't. It's a huge indication of issues to come later on in the relationship. It symbolizes lack of trust and the feeling that Jinny is an object to him. These two factors can and will destroy relationships.
3. A relationship cannot survive if one person needs more than the other wants to give. Teddy wants more than Jinny can give him. This will ultimately lead to their demise.

Yes, Teddy is cute. Yes, it's nice to see Jinny with someone. But this is not good. If it continues on the same pattern, it will also not be very healthy. The thrill of the chase is so much more entertaining than the actual relationship. I think we've seen the best that there is to see with this couple, and that's not saying very much.

I think the relationship could work out, unless he wants something more like marriage, i don't c that, cause jinny is way too independent.

i like teddy, he's a nice guy, and yes, he got jealous cause he saw the guy talk to jinny, but he admitted it was stupid....also, it took her four times to agree to go out with him...he truly likes her...and he doesn't know everything about her, and thats y she is apprenhensive about the relationship, altough, now, she's for it, cause she's realizing that sleeping around just doesn't cut it.......u know what would b funny, down the road, 4 years from now, they break them up, and teddy goes out with someone else, jinny can have her car towed.........

I like Teddy & Jinny together. These two actors have the great chemistry that works well together. You actually don't see alot of the chemistry like that on the television screen. And when you do see the chemistry that Nancy & Jay have together then the writers would be foolish not to take advantage of this. It sells shows. I have only seen that kind of chemistry 2 times before. And those couples have a huge fan following. So I think that the writers are very smart to use this to their advantage. I would like to see how this plays out. I really think that they could make it work. I know some of you say that he shouldn't of gotten jealous like that. I understand that. But as he says he has a past who knows maybe he got hurt really bad in his past and was trying to protect himself from being hurt like that again. One never knows. I think that Teddy is good for Jinny. I don't think that Teddy & Jinny being together takes anything away from Jinny as some of you think. I think she still has her edge, but it also shows a softer side to her. This is my opinion and nobody has to agree with me. But I enjoy watching the scenes between Theodore and Jinny. I hope i can continue to watch this couple evolve. I know what I like and I like Teddy & jinny together. Didn't mean to offend anyone.

I agree that these two actors do have INCREDIBLE onscreen chemistry, and they obviously must get along well in real life. Or either they're just very comfortable around each other on screen... Either way, I do agree the writers would be foolish to break them up at this time, and they better bring Teddy back into the picture soon because some people may get tired of waiting for him. I am ready to see how this particular storyline develops!

Jeanie, maybe Teddy did have someone hurt him in his past. That would make for an interesting twist...

I hope next season they elaborate on the relationship more---hopefully making it real!
