My hat goes off to the writers!

LOVED how Dick's suicide played out. The interaction between C.D. and Angela was great as well! Angela had me believing she was an Inspector for a second there...maybe she'll be a more convincing cop second season like she was tonight! I liked how they sorta talked it out, and how C.D. trusted her with the letter. And the burning of the letter at the end, I guess C.D. conceded her partnership with Dick to be over. She's moved on and now she accepts Angela as her partner. I really liked how they burnt it together...that hit me pretty deep.

I liked how Magda handled Ben's dad. I also like that fact she felt comfortable talking to Jinny about it, and also that Jinny felt Ben needed to meet his father.

I also liked the gambling case tonight. I thought it was very well scripted and found it realistic.

I liked how Jinny related to the addicted gamblers, and some of the expressions she gave while people were talking about gamblers and how screwed up their life can get once addicted. It really hit home with Jinny I think. Especially since she went to that meeting and then watched that lady...I really think she was picturing herself there.

Cap was great, too! She's really growing on me! I think she played a great supporting role, and handled C.D. and Angela well. Like the fact she "closed the drawer" on Dick.

Wonder if the suicide will ever be brought up again...

All in all I liked the finale. I'm sad it was the finale, but glad that there will be more to come this fall! I think the writers now have alot to build home, and I hope they do a good job of it.

Loved the episode

anyone else?

I started a new topic before I saw what you posted so you can go there to read it. I agree with you on everything but Dick's suicide. Did not like at all how that was handled. Television shows do not need to show police officers getting away with corruption. We have enough of that already.

Thumbs up

I really, really liked this ep. I really liked Angela in it. It was the first time she actually had an opportunity to show her stuff, she had always played the I-don't-know-what-I'm-doing-I'm-just-a-rookie but tonight she showed what kind of cop she can be. I like it. I love the direction that Jinny and Magda's partnership is heading. They can almost finish each other's sentences, they're getting to be best friends, not just partners.

Cap did a great job tonight, and I really liked the gambling addiction. I agree with what's been said, that some things hit home for Jinny. I'm sad the season is over, and I can't wait for next season!

The Jinny thing will be interesting, because she sees how her life could end up, and what about her relationship with teddy, it could get better knowing this side of herself, after all, she did tell him, we'll work it out, and now she's gonna work on herself....LONG LIVE TEDDY

Dick Suicide: i really liked how that was played out during the episode, HATS OFF TO THE WRITERS!! i would never have thought that would happen, i really thought the directors had dug themselves into a hole..thats nice to see that Kate really trust CD at the end because if that had been any other cop she might be a little heistant~

Angela- a couple weeks ago i said that she was starting to grow on me and she is, she is becoming a more convincing actress and her character gets better with age, it will be intresting to find out about her more next season~i also liked the part where she was like screaming at CD, i was like go angela!

Magda- I liked her in this episode and i agree i would have let Gabriale meet Ben~Like someone previously said i really liked how it showed that she really trust jinny, but for next season i would like to see her interaction with the captain because they usually just show captain with CD and Angela or alone.

Jinny- yea i cant wait to find out more about her past life and i also agree with that maybe the gambling and aiting at the help center can relate to other problems in her life like her drinking, eCt~

Captain- what can i say i like how she handled the CD, Angela case and how she trust them, she has been growing on me and i am intrested in finding out more bout her character and i hope lifetime host a chat with her soon or any other characterrs from the division~

On tap for next season i hope to:
- see how jinny and magda work out
-jinny and teddy's relationship
-jinny and captain's past
-captains, angela, cd, and magdas past....
-jinnys drinking

Jinny: See I know people too, dont screw with me

Yall know what? I loved this episode! It's weird, you know?...lol...anyway...

-I knew Lela could ACT, but her character sucked until this episode. I really think she showed her acting ability wonderfully in this ep.

-CD..well..I still think she's in some deep ish. But, you know, this is just gonna make the new eps more interesting...

-Jinny...I think next season, or this one..whenever the new eps start, will start to deal with her alcohalism. I think that gambling addiction storyline was a good way to let the character realize the problem she has

-Madga..well, to tell you the truth, I think this storyline was VERY well played out. I think the writers did good on really showing how she must feel after this man comes back, and wants to be part of HER son's life...can't wait to see what happens!

peace yall

I agree with you guys that Lela put in a good performance as Angela is this episode.

I still have to wonder if this is the season finale. Seems like they only aired about 10 original episodes.

When the show first premiered I think I remembered reading bios on the characters. I thought they would focus on Angela and her pregnancy/fear of cancer, Magda and her attraction to her partner(Peter), Jinny's family and addiction problems, etc. Seems like they barely touched on these things or maybe decided to change some of storylines ie. Magda and Peter.

I wouldn't mind if they did one or two episodes without focusing on a police case and just dealing with some of personal issues.

Maybe I'm just slow but I just noticed last night that Peter is out of the opening credits.
