I have a confession to make. I am really into White Guys. If a person is White, he has a better chance to be my boyfriend than a person of any other color..............I could be considered self-prejudiced, or self-racist, because I prefer White people, and I am Black. Ryan, my ex-boyfriend was White, and Mark my new boyfriend is too. I dated a non-White in high school, and he soon ended up ignoring me. I never spoke to him again. But, if he were White, I would have given him more chances. I know it's sad, but.... I would have............

Colour shouldn't matter one way or another. Guys of any race can ignore you. You're painting a whole race with one brush based on one or two experiences.

It would be sad and foolish to limit yourself. Everyone is an individual.

I agree. There is nothing wrong with having a preference, but when you begin to judge or treat people differently it becomes a problem. You're missing out on so many people and it's a shame.
In the past i've have bad experiences with guys of different races but I know it's a reflection of their character, not of their race. So don't just brush someone off because they are non-white, you may be surprised and find a desent character in them.

I never really noticed color. I just let whoever came into my life, come into my life. No need to judge anyone based on their color. Any race can be good, loving people, and any race can have hateful, cheating people. Do yourself a favor and dont pay attention to race. In this world and time, there should be NO issues with race anymore.

having a "thing" for people of a certain race isn't prejudice of any kind, just don't generalize entire races based on a few experiences.

I think you should date white guys because they are all perfect. Stay away from Black men, they are either secretly gay, murders, womanizers, or sex crazy. So you are making the right decision

It's sad when you make a generalizations like that against any race. My grandpa and grandma (my moms side) has been married for over 50 years, and he's neither a womanizer, secretly gay, now I don't know about the sex crazy

yeah exactly. some people are just more attracted to one race then another, its not racist. but when you REFUSE to date someone because of their race and base it on prejudice generalzations is when it starts to border racism.

There is some truth there. However, it does not apply to all blacks. Besides, I have run into a lot of white men that are on the sexual down low as well and womanizers too along with horndogs. There are murderers as well. Maybe this is why some women think that we are dogs.
