Default The Cast Were Clearly Tired By It Last Season

Even Thought The Show Still Had It Moments And The Actors Still Had Great Performances In The Last Season,You Could Clearly Tell The Cast Were Tired,They Also Did Not Seem Have The Same Evergy That They Had Back In 1975 And It Showed A Few Times During The Last Season.
Dose Anybody Agree?

True, give some specific examples where they look tired though.

I remember watching the later episodes in reruns then when they were done they showed an episode from year 4 and it was almost like it was a different show- the actors (George, Florence, the Willises, Louise) had MUCH more zest and umphh to their performances.

Florence esp was more laid back in the end. I haven't seen the later shows recently but she sticks out as being the most deenergized.

Yeah, Florence did always look tired in those final seasons. It's funny too, because when the show ended, just 3 months later she went on to 227 for 5 more years.

With all that weight the cast gained by the end, yeah, I woulld get tired of hooting and hollering and dancing myself.

I can imagine the exhaust in playing the same character for that long of a period of time. As you can see in 227, she was the stay at home housewife and dominated the series. The show should have called it quits while it had the chance. I have yet to see the last season but from reading here and my conversations with others, it seemed to be filled with either filler episodes or "same storyline, different character" type episodes.

The show was on far too long. 253 shows I think? Actors change over the years so it isn't even like watching the same people anymore. Your talking about 10 years from the first show to last show.

They didn't even look the same. Bentley was the biggest change for me. He was so funny at first than in the later seasons just was not. Maybe the scripts changed but it wasn't the same.
