I Was Watchng a Isabel Sanford Interview From Google Videos And On Part 5,She Says That She Wanted The Role Of Florida Evans And So She Went To Norman Lear To See About Getting The Role On Good Times But Norman Lear Said No Because She Was Already Identified As Louise On All In The Family.

It's hard to imagine anyone than Esther Rolle in the role of Florida. Still, Isabel Sanford was a wonderful actress who would handled the role wonderfully. I've actually thought that Ja'net DuBois would have been great as Florida. She had James would have looked great together.
