ok..on the lifetime website it says that CD is 32..just like everyone else..anyway, and then on the show CD says that she has been a cop for 14 years...that would mean that she would have been 18 when she became a cop! She wouldn't have even been out of college yet!! Where i live...Boston...and i think pretty much everywhere...you have to be 25 to become a cop. I could be wrong...i'm really tired.
------------------ CD- And how long has it been since you got some Jinny? 24 hours. Jinny- Yes, mom, but i rountinly practice safe sex! Jinny- We're cops. Sworn to protect and serve. Jinny- I guess I'm just a dumb cop. Why don't you spell that out for me. |

When watching a television you have to throw reality out the window. Another possibility is that the requirements have changed in the last 14 years. Remember that things change over time and the requirements differ by where you are located. I would definitely take my first point in consideration more then the others! Things on television just don't add up and it's not worth trying to figure some things out! You only give yourself a headache.

I don't think CD went to college. Some of the comments about Angela being a college grad suggests to me that she probably just went into the academy out of high school.
In Chicago, they just changed the law like 3 months ago, and you only have to be 19. I think it was 21 before. I'll have to ask one of my cop friends to be sure. Most cops I know here do not have college degrees. What's interesting though, most cops I know in small towns and in suburbs DO have college degrees. |
