I like both shows, but I pick Three's Company, because of the fact that I have all the DVD's and I've seen every episode more than any episode of Jeffersons.

I haven't seen all of the Jeffersons, but what I did see was very good!

Still, I'll go with Three's Company. It's universal; whereas The Jeffersons seemed rather... well, forgive me... American. -- I really do NOT mean to insult. Just a cultural observation.

Three's Company is at least 10x better than The Jeffersons was on its best day! This was a very easy choice for me to make.

The Jeffersons for me and for a couple of reasons. One, Antenna TV killed Threes Company for me with their endless playing of it over and over that i'm so sick of seeing it now.
Secondly, (and this is a personal opinion)....The Jeffersons dealt with serious issues at times which gives it the edge for me over Threes Company. Both shows ARE great, but I personally prefer my sitcoms more grounded in reality with a balance of comedy and drama thrown in the mix. Threes Company very rarely if ever did that.
In fact, because of that alone, I think it makes it an almost unfair apples/oranges comparison of the 2 shows since they had such different tones. One was slapstick while the other had comedy/drama. But if I had to pick, The Jeffersons by a mile.
