I Love Lucy in color - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Hello everybody, I just wanted to see if anyone has any pictures that theyve colorized of Lucy and the gang and if anyone has any requests of screen caps that theyd like to see in color.I know that a lot of people hate colorization but give it a chance. I used episodes and the 50th anniversary sets and for a few other sets I used both episodes and imaginations and then to colorize I used the sets as references.And to make the shapes I used a lot of preset shapes and items on paint.

Wow! You really know your stuff. I have paint but only use it to edit photo sizes. Great job!!!

Seeing the Connecticut home with the fab four really is pretty in color. I love it.

Thanks. It was hard though not knowing what colors to use because all i had was the black and white references. Have there evr been any color pictures of the Connecticut set because of all the pictures ive seen, I have never seen the Connecticut set in color.

Wow, really nice job...and welcome! I agree with Irene about the Connecticut house, I also like what you did with the hotel room (especially the background) and the animations are great. Thanks for sharing.

i would love to see the opperetta in color! that is one of my fav. episodes that and The scene of lucy as a geisha girl in TLDCH the ricardos go to japan. That one is so funny esp. when she immitates japanese.

Also this is another one, and an easy one too because I referenced the Lucy Desi dvd collection. This is a slightly different picture than that of the one on the box

Also to Drew: I loaned my Lucy Desi Comedy hour dvds to my cousin. Until I get it back from her I can do any scene from ILL. As soon as I get it back I can do Lucy as a geisha.Sorry.

I despise colourisation, but, w/e turns your crank, it's all good. I think maybe you got Lucy's hair a little TOO orange there (The purple doors are pretty flippy!
