All in all, I gave it a 7 1/2. And I think that's being generous! I mean, that episode... well... stinks. I did like Cpt.'s story line. Ditto for C.D. and Angela's. But I did not care for Jinny and Magda's. And Teddy wasn't in it. I was highly disappointed. But that's just my opinion!

Post 4/15 episode....

Sooooooo...what did you guys think about that episode? I now have a total new respect for Kate and Bonnie Bedelia herself as an actress. I mean She was on Mark's (name right...amanda's boyfriend) butt the whole time thinking he wasn't good enough to be amanda's boyfriend. But when she was with Amanda she is soooo caring and compassionate. I have a new respect for the other actresses and characters also!! I loved that episode but it's not my favorite. Ok i've blabbed enough. Buh-bye

I thought tonight's show was pretty good. This was by far the best performance by the Captain. I am guilty of bagging on the Cap's daughter in the past but even she was tolerable today.

Did anyone get a good look at the picture that Jinny was holding at the end of the show? Was that Nancy as a little girl?

I think the episode was ok...i liked the whole CD Angela thing..that was cool...and The captian...i still dont like her, but i realize why she's such a SOB..if you kow what i mean.

That little girl did look like a little Nancy..when i saw it i thought it was her...but we'll never know..

------------------
CD- And how long has it been since you got some Jinny? 24 hours.
Jinny- Yes, mom, but i rountinly practice safe sex!

Teddy- What? Your in danger and I'm supposed to hide in the closet?

Jinny- I guess I'm just a dumb cop. Why don't you spell that out for me.

I thought tonight's show was very well done. I liked the insight that we got into CD and Angela. Jinny and Magda's case was interesting. It's sad that probably happens somewhere. I liked Kate as a character for maybe the first time ever, but I just can't feel anything for that daughter. You would think I would feel something since I'm a little bit older then her, and the situation was sad, but she's a nutcase. I didn't feel any continuity between sleeping with someone else 3-4 episodes ago and now pregnant. That's my major gripe. Don't take us from point A to point B with explaining how we got there. OK, I need to go, put off my ECON paper long enough. Overall, the episode was good.

Michele-didn't get a good look at the picture. Was a little far from the tv! I half-expected she would pull out a photo from FOL era because they do have that luxury, but I wasn't that far away from the tv!

I personally liked this episode. The stories were all pretty good. I like Angela and C.D.'s a lot! They actually are getting along better. It showed a whole new side of them and Captain! She was actually tolerable in this episode. I never disliked Kate though. As for Magda and Jinny's storyline it was pretty good. The end was the best, obviously. Also did you notice..The shirt Magda was wearing the pink one with the flowers. Was the one Nancy wore in the "Rosie O'Donnell" Interview.

As for the picture of Nancy. It really was her. I'm sure of this because it showed the same picture on the Intimate Portrait Interview BESIDES the person to the right of her was her real dad not Alex Rocco. They just edited it in that way.

------------------
Magda : "What would you do if a guy didnt call? "
Jinny:"Oh, they always call. They want to know me, they want to be a part of my life. They want to share."
Magda: "But if they didn't? "
Jinny: I would breathe a great big sigh of relief unless of course I liked him then i would just hunt him down and slash his tires.

All in all, good episode... interesting Captain storyline. (I have to say that she's an old softy! hehe) I have like a 22" TV so I couldn't tell if that was Nancy or not, but from what I saw it did look like her. And I'm making an assumption again - since they got picked up for season 2, more Jinny family storylines probably in #2.

Great ep!

ok Yes the picture was Nancy as a kid...I tape the division and watched it like three times after it was on last night. I also rewound that part and yes...it looks exactly like her as a kid.

OK. I'm not made of stone. I actually felt bad for Captain America and her daughter. To congratulate Kate on her non-sucky acting this week, I'm not going to ice her at all.

The Jinny/Magda story reeked of Law & Order. I scanned some episode guides and couldn't find a similar Law & Order episode, but it was much more contrived than the typical case on this show.

I liked seeing C.D. and Angela. I really like C.D. I think she is easily the most complex character on the show. Every week they reveal a little more about her that makes you think "Hmmm..." Also, Angela is looking a little preggers... when are they going to work that into the storyline? Are we going to have a miracle 3 episode pregnancy or something?

Ahhh, the power of photoshop. I have to agree with Michele here. Why didn't they just grab a press photo or something from FOL? It would've saved some intern/ production assitant 30 minutes or so.

I thought the episode was pretty good all and all.

I'm finding it very hard to take aliking to Kate, but after last night she did earn some of my respect. I liked the scene/scenes between her and Mark. As for her daughter, she just isn't growing on me at all...

Jinny/Magda case was pretty cool. It beat the one where they were trying to figure out who killed that Asia dude. And I found myself smiling when Jinny told off the "lawyer bigshot" in the end.

The C.D. and Angela partnership just sorta takes a new turn every episode. Angela is still slowly growing on me, but I think she and C.D. have some pretty cool chemistry. I agree with Coily (hey Coily!) that C.D. is by far the most complex character. I liked the suicide twist they took with her last week...

As for the picture, I believe it was a press shot, but from a show Nancy did in her younger years. I think I've actually seen it on the internet before, and if I find the link I'll post it!

Jo: Why would Tootie do something like that?

Blair: WHY? I know why. To make a fool of Blair Warner, that's why.

Jo: You don't need Tootie for that.

i really liked this episode...it was not my favorite but i found it very intresting~

Kate-Amanda: i found that kate was very tolerble and starting to grow on me...i think she did a very good acting job in this episode...Amanda i like her character but the person who plays her annoys me(or maybe it is her character) but i thik the person who plays Catline on "Catlines way" could play Amanda good~

CD-Angela- nice to see them warming up to each other and i really liked the stake-out~at the end when cd says something like thanks partener...it was sooo sweet!the men who enjoyed phone sex ok...that just was sick!!i mean its just so blah...weweeeeeeww!

Jinny-Magda: i liked their case and it was nice to see other characters really devoulpe but i cant wait to see how their partnership works out!

MISS TEDDY but it is good to leave us in suspense about their relationships!
MISS CASEY but gotta save family issues for another episode!

i would have responded sooner but i missed it on sunday cuz i was away and the stupid hotel room didnt have it!!!!!!(they liked every channle except...go figure)

That was odd that you thought it was sorta like Law and Order cause in Lifetimes chat transcript for Nancy she said that was one of her fav shows.
Just thought i would let you know.
