Thought Leap Year in 2008!

In 2008 we have a leap year. The next leap is 2012 which we have a leap year every 4 years. The people who were born on February 29 is a leap year baby. Who was born on February 29? Who was married on February 29? Any Wedding Anniversaries on February 29? We have 5 Fridays in February of 2008.

In the old days, leap years were the only time that women could ask men out or propose marriage!

I have a cousin who was born on February 28, 1984. If she'd waited one more day, she would have been a Leap Year baby.

Good thing she didn't wait. Who needs that kind of complications?

My uncle was born on February 29, 1964. He always celebrates his birthday on the 28th, but every leap year we tease him about it. I guess he'll be 12 this time.

Every four years, the next one will be in 2012.

The easiest way I remember it is it's always during Presidential election years.

Dosen't it seem that the Olympics and Presidential Election Days are on years with Leap Years?

Yes, it's something with the Summer Olympics and Presidential Elections on the years when we have a Leap Year.

This Summer, we have the Beijing Olympics and we have a new president in November 2008.

No, I just never approach a woman. My mind doesn't naturally say, "Hey, there's a beautiful lady, maybe I should ask her out!"

So maybe if there is a year dedicated to allowing women the option(even though these days it's not unheard of), maybe the universe will let it happen!

I know.... pathetic, 'aint it!
