I have 1/2 hour comedies for a total of 24 hours so I would have 48 Comedies.

I show 1 episode a day so people would get tired of seeing a show shown so much they get sick of it.

I would have a varied assortment of all the types of shows that I grew up
watching: puppet shows, cartoons, sitcoms, westerns, variety shows, cop
shows, sci-fi, etc. ... which is pretty much what I watch every day right now
(thanks to video tape).

For me I would have a classic to current sitcoms on weekdays with some children variety on weekend mornings and nighttime soaps like Dallas, Falcon Crest etc on weekend nights. I would try not to put anything on that was available on a variety of other channels with the exception of only local channels or limited cable channels. I would also try to rotate shows that had spin-off of its own show like Threes Company straight into Threes a Crowd and have The Ropers fill the time slot on occasion after or before the complete run of a series. I also would try to make a schedule that would allow for a variety with the exception of special episodes that would take an hour to complete (cont. episodes) or holiday specials.
I would try to mix it up on Sunday nights with specials like 50's night or 80's night, with classic original theme songs.
I would try to leave all airings in its original content as well.

To me that would bring more viewers then the lousy channels we currently have.

My station would be interesting, because it would have cartoons, sitcoms AND dramas/soaps. I would probably show every episode twice within 24 hours, so you can have two chances to catch the episode in every cycle.

After some thinking, I've realised that I would need one station for sitcoms and cartoons and one for soaps and other dramas.

This was from another thread:
This is a 100% uncut, unedited network, called the Uncut Network (UCN for short) Now these will be commercial free, and during comercial break spots there will be a 10 second promo telling you what's up next, and there won't be that annoying network symbol down at the bottom. Also it will air hour long episodes (if they originally aired that way), will have DVD quality shows, and show complete opening and ending credits with out a voice over or a split-screen. (A couple shows are current so they won't show new scenes, but they're unedited).

I love these kind of threads. well here goes.

with all the shows i like I'll make 3 networks one for sitcoms, another for cartoons and another for game shows. enjoy!

these channels will be owned by universal.

NBC Comedy (it will air sitcoms from the 80's, 90's and now, no split screen during creds and commercials after the show and since most shows are 22-23 mins that will leave 7-8 mins of commercials and since every show begins at the next have hour you could get up and doing something until the next show.)

Sched the same everyday.

6am Full House
7am Fresh Prince
8am Saved by the Bell
9am Home Improvement
10am Radio Free Roscoe
11am King of Queens
12pm Everybody Loves Raymond
1pm Seinfeld
2pm According to Jim
3pm Two and a Half Men
4pm Malcolm in the Middle
5pm 8 Simple Rules
6pm Cosby Show
7pm Addams Family (Fox Family version)
8pm Smart Guy
9pm Sister Sister
10pm Boy Meets World
11pm ALF
12am Family Matters
1am Frasier
2am Hope and Faith
3am Married with Children
4am Sabrina
5am That 70's Show

and... coming soon is NBC Toons.
