Exclamation Questions worth pondering....

Now that we all know "The Division" has been renewed, we can speculate about whats to come

We all know that Angela's pregnancy will have to be introduced sooner or later, and it was in LIFETIME's summary of the episode that aired three weeks ago that it would be introduced then, but it wasn't. Possibly going to reshoot the scene for season 2...?

Here are just a few things off the top of my head that I would like to see "broadened" in season 2, along with new aspects introduced.

--The Cap and Jinny's relationship.

--Dick's suicide

--Jinny and Teddy's relationship.

--C.D. and Paul

--Maga and Peter (they can't just leave us like that, although I didn't like Peter that much anyway)

--C.D. and Angela's partnership (they're finally warming up to each other!)

And there's ALOT more.

I could do without Cap's daughter though.

And what does everyone think of Teddy and Jinny's relationship anyway? They're sorta spreading it out in between episodes as stuff. ... And isn't there supposed to be a big surprise in the season finale...?

I CAN'T WAIT!

Jo: Why would Tootie do something like that?

Blair: WHY? I know why. To make a fool of Blair Warner, that's why.

Jo: You don't need Tootie for that.

oh yeah, i could DEFINITELY do w/o the cap's daughter... she a little... ummm... ODD.

Jinny: Well, he's a horse's ass, but he has a point.

Jinny: Alright, alright. Enough! Put your hands up! Look buddy, I've got PMS and a gun, any questions?

Jinny: Listen, if I shoot the neighbors cat, I must take you to defend me in court.

I had not heard about a season ending surprise but it sounds very interesting. I like your list of questions. There just seems to be so many things that need to be resolved. I want to see more of Jinny's family and hopefully more of Magda and her little boy, too. I can definitely do without seeing much more of the Captain's daughter though I did feel badly for her during the last episode. Don't know if we'll see more of Peter...just seems weird that a supposed main character that is shown in the opening credits just simply disappears off the show.

I know I'm in the minority around here but I still feel that Teddy was acting a bit possessive during last week's show. I just have a feeling that in addition to Jinny's drinking and sleeping around problems there will also be some other issues for Ted/Jinny to deal with.

I really think the top two issues that will be explored more in depth in the next season will be:

Jinny's drinking (that's a no-brainer)

Dick's suicide/CD and the rape issue

With Lela's real-life pregnancy, unless they are pre-shooting or working the production schedule around her will most likely be in the background. I guess they're writing it in either that or watch for her carrying big bags, and hiding behind desks or big plants (I'm a soap junkie and that's the soaps favorite tricks!). Magda's going to figure into Jinny's storyline and continue with the single mom thing. I really think they locked Peter in the basement with the ADA that Kate was sleeping with and hopefully Kate's daughter will soon follow! I would love for them to explore Kate's issues with being a woman captain. I've studied leadership in college and it is interesting how women's roles are changing and the "glass ceiling" is slowly shattering. One of my professors showed movie clips and he could use the Division to illustrate Kate's leadership style! I wish they would explore that more, but it probably won't happen. I think the standouts in the cast have been LV, TN, and NMK. I think the storylines will be more centered around those characters next season and expect a cliff-hanger season finale, especially with this type of the show. I'm still not over Sully going over the cliff in Dr. Quinn! It was one long summer!!

Michele, I guess I'm in good company! I have done almost a complete 180 on my opinion of Teddy. I do not like possessive guys. I think he's got some codependency issues, which will cause problems for a independent spirit like Jinny.

Wish list for next season:

1. Recast for Cap's daughter
2. Cap suspends Jinny for her bad attitude (Sorry, but if either of the 2 people who work for me ever spoke to me like Jinny speaks to her Cap, there would be some serious consequences)
3. C.D. cheats on Paul
4. Jinny begins to come to grips with her drinking. This needs to be handled slowly, across the entire season, not just one episode.
5. Angela retires to be a stay at home mom. She just isn't a very convincing cop. I like her though.
6. A love interest for Magda other than Peter.
