'Prison Break' Star is People's "Sexiest Deep Thinker"

It was only a few weeks ago that Prison Break star Wentworth Miller was deemed “The Ultimate Hottie,” thanks to a poll conducted by Entertainment Weekly, but the 35-year-old actor is making waves once again, this time by being featured on People magazine as one of the “Sexiest Men Alive”.

Although Miller wasn't able to top the list, the magazine hailed him as “Sexiest Deep Thinker," and included a short interview on his page. In the interview, the Princeton grad readily gives answers that prove he is truly deserving of his title. Your Take

In the quick Q&A, Wentworth Miller, who plays the equally insightful Michael Scofield on Prison Break, told the magazine that he had always wanted to be an actor.

“There is no Plan B,” he quipped when asked what he would be doing if he wasn't an actor. “Never has been.”

Among Miller's first television gigs was playing a swimmer-turned-sea-creature in Buffy the Vampire Slayer and a gay cheerleader on Popular. He was then cast in his first starring role on the ABC miniseries, Dinotopia, and went on to guest-star in several more series, such as Ghost Whisperer and Joan of Arcadia.

FOX's Prison Break is what really put Wentworth Miller on the map, however. The show, which also stars Dominic Purcell, Robert Knepper, William Fichtner, Amaury Nolasco and Wade Williams, debuted in 2005 and has since then continued to perform well for the network. The show, however, is currently on hiatus and is set to return in January.

Miller has also appeared on the big screen, working with such industry giants as Anthony Hopkins (The Human Stain) and Kate Beckinsale (Underworld).

If his life were to be adapted into the big screen, Wentworth Miller told People that he would call the project Increments, a word uttered by his father “every morning before I left for school. He meant every test, every quiz, every paper adds up to the final grade. In life, everything counts.”

He also said that his favorite time of the day is when his “head hits the pillow,” for reasons that seem to involve more reflecting than sleeping.

“That's when I close my eyes and decide if I'm the person I meant to be when I got up,” he told People.
