Kiefer Sutherland Assigned Laundry Duty in Jail
Jack Bauer has a new assignment: Laundry duty.
Kiefer Sutherland — who began serving a 48-day sentence in L.A.'s Glendale City Jail on December 5 for his second DUI conviction and for violating probation — "is still assigned to laundry duty and is now doing it on his own," Glendale PD PIO Officer John Balian told TMZ.com. Balian said Sutherland, 40 — who was only allowed to bring two books for his jail stay — has yet to be assigned to kitchen duty. And he hasn't received any visitors (except for his attorney) yet, either, TMZ reports. (He is entitled to two visitors a day for a 15-minute video conference chat each.)
