Report: MUSHROOMHEAD T-Shirt Found In Mallshooter's Car
Report: MUSHROOMHEAD T-Shirt Found In Mallshooter's Car
According to The Associated Press, a black t-shirt for the band MUSHROOMHEAD was found in Robert Hawkins' car after the Westroads Mall shootings in Omaha, Nebraska, according to a report filed today by the Omaha police. Some of the Ohio band's songs are "Kill Tomorrow" and "Embrace the End". Hawkins shot 11 people and killing eight before killing himself on December 5. Police say they found one full box of 20 bullets for the AK-47 Hawkins used and one nearly full box with 14 bullets. Police also seized a 3-inch throwing knife and a 3-inch folding knife. On Thursday, police filed reports on two other searches done after the shooting. Police said they seized a spiral notebook from Hawkins' room at the Kovac house, but did not say what was in the notebook. Police also found two empty boxes of bullets for the AK-47 Hawkins used. They also seized a glass marijuana pipe. Mushroomhead: |

Remember those 90's alternative pop hits like "Shine" and "December" and all those? Yep, that's what his favorite band was! Was it an influence? Dunno. Probably it's more "newsworthy" when an extreme music band gets tied in to a heinous act. More people would agree that this guy had issues than just that the guy happened to be a fan of more cutting edge metal because he owned a t-shirt of the band. Why aren't more lawsuits going on against bands like these and Marilyn Manson and others? Religion has caused more death and violence than all heavy metal bands combined. |
