I Need Your Prayers - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I went for my normal check-up at the doctor a few days ago and he ordered blood work like always. I have to have blood work done every 3 months or so because of my health problems. They didn't come back well. I'm dying. Unless some major things happen, I'm not going to last a whole lot longer. Pray that I will be able to get my health back in order, and pray for my family. My mom just told me all this a little while ago, she was crying.

No, no joke. I'm going to have to go through a lot of testing and lifestyle changes. We don't know if this will correct everything or not, but I have to try.

Wow Lauren. Terrible news. When your doctor says lifestyle changes, what does he mean? Diet, exercise, that sort of thing? I never knew you had a heart problem. Of course, you'll be in my prayers.

Yes, major diet changes, exercise, medication, ect.

It sounds to me like there's hope, Lauren. My husband was given the same orders years ago. He does his best, but it's hard to change a lifetime of bad habits. You're young. You can do this, Lauren. Your life depends on it. They didn't say anything about congestive heart failure, did they? Don't answer anything you're uncomfortable with. I'll understand. I just know a lot about heart disease.

I'm sorry to hear that you have major health problems especially that you are so young. There is always something that can be done. Follow the doctors' orders and you should be fine. You will be in my thoughts and prayers.
If you need to talk to someone; I'm here even though we don't really know each other. Please, keep us posted on how you're doing & everything.

I will be keeping you in my prayers. Just make getting healthy your main focus/do research on your condition as people/doctors have tons of new and different treatments etc. Whether it's through medical or alternative there is ALWAYS hope! Your young enough for your body to fight whatever it is that's making you ill.
