Lightbulb TEDDY NOT POSSESSIVE

I don't think he's possessive at all, and believe me, i am not the biggest man lover....but, i will say this, jinny is not after him, right, at the beginning, he really went after her, and she is very afraid to give him more than she can.....now, he sees her with a guy from the office and probably, (more than likely) thinks y couldn't she b like that with me....and teddy also wants more from jinny....also, it's more important if the man likes the woman more than the woman liking the man obsessively, take it from me, this all comes from getting older...and i am getting older.....

In my experience, relationships never work if one person likes the other more, man OR woman. It takes equal commitment from both people to make a relationship work! And I agree that Teddy probably wants more from Jinny and is therefore jealous, but that doesn't excuse his rude insinuations about where she was all night.

I find your statement to be a little odd. IT'S NOT GOOD FOR ANYONE TO BE OBSESSIVE. I had a roommate who was and still is completely obsessed with her fiance and for some reason thought everyone in our suite wanted to steal her fiance (yeah right, we were to busy making fun of the fact that he wore a black trench coat and these knee high boots on the outside of his jeans). I'm also on my college's crew team which both men and women teams travel together. We have several inter-team (men/female!) romances and I would classify one in particular as obsession. They nearly dragged both the men and women teams down with them at our biggest race last year. In short, men and women can obsess over the other just as easy and it's bad when someone becomes your whole focus. I lost a good friend because she decided to exclude us as a result of her obsession.

I don't think Theodore has had many relationships and is worried about losing Jinny. Not sure it needs to be classified as obsession just yet, but she had every right to be on his case.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. That kind of behavior is very unattractive. I'm sure I looked the other way when I was younger and had relationships like that. But as an adult, there are some things you just don't do. Even my husband would not get away with what Teddy pulled. Obsessive? I don't think it's that bad yet. Co-dependent? Yes. I think that Teddy has some co-dependency issues, which isn't the healthiest thing in the world.

OT, lesliem, I think it's super kewl that you're in crew. I always wanted to get into it, but I was too short to row and too tall to be coxwain. I'm thinking about taking an 8 man crew course through the park district here though. It is so graceful... I'll shut up now.

Usually I try really hard not to do this, but in this case I will:
coily- An eight rowing together with all blades rolling up together and catching as one is the most graceful sight in any sport. On the other hand-an eight not together can be one of the ugliest sights in sports and I've seen some ugly rowing and did it myself! If your thinking about getting into rowing, an eight is the best way to go. I love fours, but they are very difficult to keep set and pairs are even more impossible. I didn't start rowing until I got to college and got hooked from the beginning. I know the big DI programs and some of the smaller programs have a thing about height, but we don't. I'm about 5'8" and we have a few who are 6', but most are close to my height or shorter. A taller person can take a longer stroke, but if you pull harder then it's irrelevant. I've played a lot of sports, but a 2000m crew race is the by far the hardest 7 minutes I've ever spent in my life. If you want to know more about crew then I'm more then happy to tell you! I left A LOT out (like the blisters and slide bites)!!
