Question Pens: What kind do you like?

My penmanship is similar to a third-grader, and has gotten worse since using computers. I'm particular when it comes to the pens I use. I only like medium ball point pens, never fine point. I recently found a cool bold point pen, by Paper-Mate. I also like sort of a thick pen with a good grip, and a clicker (as opposed to a removable cap).

Always black ink, never blue. I have an engraved Cross Pen, but the pen itself is so small, that I don't even bother with the refills anymore. I hate the pens that come 10 to a package for $1.99. They smudge and bleed by the third use. As bad as my writing is, if I have the right pen, it makes a big difference.

I hate those 10-pack pens too, the way they bleed and make nasty messes

I use only BLUE INKED pens. I won't touch any other color. I have to have a smooth writing pen. I also hate those eraseable pens, those inks are terrible.

I also write in ALL CAPS. I rarely handwrite, since I use the computer.

I found these great pens in Wal-Mart. They were kind of expensive and I can't remember the exact name, but the ink was really dark (blue) and it didn't smudge as much as that pack of 50 pens I got for $5 at Canadian Tire.

My handwriting is pretty good (at least I think so). I design random fake websites by pen (yeah, it's nerdy) and draw out maps of new cities I've created (please... don't ask) for at least 3-4 hours a day and I go through a 80 page exercise book in a week or less.

I buy BIC pens, 12 to a box, black ink, medium ball point, they write for months and are reliable and reasonably priced, who can ask for more?

Papermate has this one pen that's comes in different colors, but it's a bold writing pen and on the pack it says something like smoothest pen. I absolutly love those pens. I bought 2 packs last month they come with 3 in pack, and all but 1 has been taken by co-workers.

I think I just bought this. Mine came in a 2-pack. It's called, Silk Writer. It is a fantastic pen. I checked their site, but the pen is new, so it's not there or I couldn't find it.

So many different kinds of pens.

This is funny because I love a good pen! But I love to write, too...I like the way a good pen glides over the paper and the whole mechanics of forming letters and things (*geek*) I like most Papermate pens, and I like the thicker ones with a gripper. I hate gel pens...there are two things I will not touch and one is a gel pen and the other is glitter or anything covered in glitter. My friends and family are well trained...they know not to send me any greeting cards with glitter.

I hate pens that leave blobs as you write. Ugh. I prefer medium point blue pens. I have some papermates that I got for like 50 cents that write well. Most of my pens are taken from hotels.
