Default Your room 101 list

here in the uk, there was a tv show called room 101, which was hosted by a guy named paul merton and on it, celebrities would chose 5 of their pet hates and offer reasons as to why they deserve to go into room 101.

if you were to choose five of your most disliked or hated things on the show, what would it be and why those things in particular. this can be anyone or anything- there are no restrictions or limitations whatsoever. they can be humourous, tongue and cheek, or just serious and offensive in general.

for those of you in the US and canada unfamiliar with the concept of the programme here is a clip which illustrates what room 101 is about:

Interesting show. I watched Ricky's picks.

I'll get back to you in a bit with some from my list. I have some errands to run in the neighborhood this morning, so I'll probably encounter a few people, places and things that I would like to get rid of.

I got one! This has been on my list for a long time...

People who don't watch where they are going.

As children we are taught to look both ways before you cross the street, so we don't get our little bodies crushed by a big damn truck.

Yet as adults it seems people have forgotten that rule. In fact, there's lots of folks out there who don't pay attention to whet they're doing when they're doing everything else!

I have posted numerous times before here at Sitcoms Online about how damn crowded NYC is at all times. The sidewalks are narrow and busy at all times. You can really get hurt if you don't look out.

Still...

I can't tell you how many times Ive walked down a street and some person comes out of a building or store and just crashes right into me because he/she is not looking where they are going.

Another favorite of mine is when some person in front of you stops walking, quickly turns around and crashes into you.

Again, not paying attention to what is going on around them.

So all you folks in your own little world who ram into me because you can't be bothered to look around, congrats! I'm sending you to room 101!

#1- Drivers who are on cel phones or READING on the highway
#2- People who let their cats run wild...I dont have a cat, so why would i want yours in my yard "making dirt"? Dogs need licenses and to be leashed, WHY are cats allowed to get away with this????
#3- People who play their music full blast at 3 am in summer....if I can wear headphones, so can you!
#4- people who drive in winter with only a "little hole" to see out of their windsheild...you CAN'T see where you're going, clean your windows properly!
#5- "Do you want fries with that?" IF I WANTED FRIES, I'D HAVE ASKED FOR THEM!!!!

what i find annoying is when kids play their music aloud on the bus that they don't even bother using earphones. that really drives me insane

anyhow 5 things i would banish into room 101 are:

1) people who don't clean up their dogs mess- you know, their owners let their dogs **** in public and yet i get annoyed when i end up stepping on dog ****. gross!

2) hypocrites- i hate people who say one thing, but then turn around or end up saying something else that is contradictory. i'd rather that people were honest and upfront about me- either you like me or you don't, but whatever you do don't try to be nice and then all of a sudden lose your temper over some stupid thing, which is not of my own doing

3) soap operas- i cannot stand those damn shows

4) bigotry- all forms of discrimination and hatred- be it sexist, racist, homophobic, ageist behaviour i despise

5) taxes- get rid of them all, you know tax on food, petrol, gas everything
