I must apologize for my error. Oldfriend is correct, She isn't Bobby Sherman's sister. I had read that in an old issue of Tiger Beat & I later found out that she played his sister in Getting Together. I would read it again to see what I missed but I sold that issue on ebay.

She was my first girlfriend.
We met in 2nd grade and 'dated' in 6th and 7th!
I've no idea where she is now.

I believe Susan attended Immaculate Heart College in Hollywood in the late 1970s.

She also played the middle daughter of 3 in John Forsythe's 1969-71 CBS sitcom, To Rome with Love, which got her on the cover of TV Guide with John Forsythe and her "sisters" for the June 20, 1970 issue:

She has very short hair in the cover picture.

She was also Lana in an episode of Family Affair. Lana apparently went to hairdressing school at her tender age, given how professionally and elaborately she styles Buffy's hair.

I'm working on the In Memoriam post for tomorrow's blog. I saw her listed on the 2022 deaths list.

Susan Neher, 63, American actress (To Rome with Love, Getting Together)

Neher died in Salem, Oregon on August 2, 2022, at the age of 63.

I sometimes wonder what a Joanie in the main "Happy Days" show that was still played by Susan would have been like?

Certainly, played and scripted differently to Erin's.
