Default Beaver the Magician

Didn't like this episode at all. HOw old do you guys think Bengie is? He must have some major learning disabilities if he believes Beaver turned into a rock.

Loved the conversation between Aunt Martha and June... I wonder what Aunt Martha said when Ward and Beaver were up there...

How long do you guys think it is from Mayfield to Riverside? 6 hours?

I liked how June got angry at Wally.. Hehe...

I'm not a fan of Benji at all, very annoying character- especially annoying in the episode where Beaver buys him shoes.

I remember the episode when Wally and Beaver were painting the fence and Benjie poured the can of paint on himself.

That's a different character, Chuckie Murdock. He seems to be somewhat of a Bengie replacement who lives a little further from the Cleavers and has an older sister. But yes, he is very annoying when Beaver is taking him to buy new shoes; Beaver should have let him scream his head off if he wanted to, when he threatened to scream if he didn't get the shoes he wanted rather than what his mother told Wally. Anyone in the store could see that he was just being a brat and was not being abused.

And Chucky's mother is a pathetic character. She doesn't have time to take him to buy new shoes, so she ditches him on Wally to do so-- orders him to with a quick 'thank you' and doesn't even ask him. Then later, when she comes back over and is worried about Beaver and is sneering at Wally [who is quite lousy and wimpish himself in this ep], to look as if she's crying is about the worst acting in the entire LITB run.

Okay. I always blow a safety valve when this episode is brought up .

I totally agree with you.... I mean Beaver did let the kid scream with the ice cream first and people looked... That probably made him nervous... Chuckie's mother was in the wrong, she should have taken Chucky shopping then pick up her stupid husband. Where was her husband coming from? Cincinatti?

Wally was also in the wrong, he should have tried to say no to her and when he couldn't, he should have said no to Eddie too... But I wonder what June would have done if she was taking Chuckie out.... LOL
