In one second season ep Willy mentions to Alf how the latter ordered furniture for his (Alf's) bedroom. I thought Alf slept in the parlor/living room area in the bed meant for a dog!

Your right about the bed made for a dog, but ALF slept in the washer and dyer area of the house. ALF used to complain how the washer and dryer kept him awake sometimes at night.

He did. But then he moved to the attic.

ALF his in the kitchen when people (such as the Ochmoneks) came over. But he actually slept in the laundry room, or the attic. I think ALF got the attic around the time Kate got pregnant w/ Eric, but I'm not sure.
