Don't know if this case has been discussed on here before. It was about a cop who was shot in his kitchen through the window. I believe there was a guy named Frank Calvees (sp) who was a suspect....this case always gave me the creeps...sound familiar to anyone?

I believe this is the case of Ralph Probst. There was speculation that his murder was related to the mob...

Just to add some details, they had done several test on the glass window as to guess how tall the gunman was. The suspected person involved had also looked at a house near the Probst home and had asked if they had the same layout. Hope this helps.

There was a case I was thinking of in which a body of a young woman was found in a grassy field down the road near an ice cream stand that was shaped like an ice cream cone, anybody remember this case and which one was it?

This is the case of Rebecca Young. Her murder was witnessed by a young, Spanish speaking male who called from a phone near the murder scene. He had stated that she got out of the car and was confronted by a male who then killed her and then fled. I believe this case took place in South Florida.

No, wasn't Rebecca Young the one that was drug out into the sugar cane field and murdered with a machete? A spanish-speaking man did call and report this, and gave a partial license number, but he never called back again.
Am I thinking of another one?
