The guy who bought the diner was Hans Conried. Any I Love Lucy fan will recognize him as Mr. Jenkins who bought Lucy's old furniture in season two. He also played an English tutor in one of the episodes where Lucy wants her and Ricky as well as the Mertzes to learn to speak perfect english before the baby is born.

Flo was pissed when her sexual charm failed to work on him when she was trying to get him to sell the diner back to Mel.

I kept forgetting that this show was on now for an hour. I was disappointed to see that I missed nearly all of part one. Glad I remembered to watch both eps tonight.

I love this episode because you see the alice's house and I like to see the whole cast in alice's home like a real family not only in the diner..
