Default "Picture It" Petrie

This could be fun.
From time to time I come across images that remind me of an episode of TDVDS. I also like to doodle. I think it might be fun to post these images here to see how many of my fellow TDVDS fans will guess the episode the image is from, or how it otherwise reminds you of the show. Get it? Good.
You might even like to post some of your own.
Don't worry. If it bores you, I promise to stop!

That's a wonderful drawing Steve! It looks very familiar but I can't place the episode.

Is it some type of lamp base?

No, it's not a lamp base, but suppose it could be an urn.
This one isn't necessarily from a particular episode, but it does prominently sit in a place in the Petrie house. Frankly I'm surprised no one has gotten it after more than 30 views! But I'll leave it for some Johnny-come-lately, rather than give the answer as to where we always see it, and what's a bit odd about it. I'll post another.

Pic #2 is easier. That's "Show of Hands" where Ritchie, Laura and Rob all put their hands in a pot of permanent dye.

Hi Steve,

Could that first drawing be the lamp that hangs in front of the window in the living room?

Did you draw that freehand? If so I am impressed; you're very talented.

I'll leave the crummy buttons for somebody else to answer -- BLECH!

Sorry Larry,
It's not a livingroom lamp at all. There's really no way to give a hint as to what this is, because no one really knows what it is, just where it is, since we often see it in the background.
Thanks for the complement on my art! Yes, I work freehand.

#1 looks like that thing in the niche in the wall behind their beds. I specifically recall noticing it in the episode where Rob thinks he's going bald but I know it was in others as well. I have no idea what it is.

YES!
You're correct, Pentimento. I don't know what it is either, but when you seee it, you will always see it behind Rob's head as he's lying in bed.
I've concluded that it's some sort of container, or as Mikado says, "an urn."
The odd thing about it is (I'll tell this answer); it's not always there! Some epidoseds don't have it sitting there at all. But whenever we do see it, it's always at the head of Rob's bed.
Whew, thanks, Pentimento.

Maybe Rob was keeping his parent's ashes in there

Couldn't be. His parents were still alive.
