Talking I used to own a dog like the dog in this sitcom

I had a Sheep Dog exactly like the dog on this sitcom. Yes, they are cute dogs and cute puppies. But, they are very energetic so before you buy one think about what I just told you.

That dog certainly got around! His name was Lord Nelson. Before he was on Please Don't Eat the Daisies, he appeared in several episodes of The Lucy Show as Mr. Moonie's dog, Nelson. After his run as Lad on Please Don't Eat the Daisies, he was on The Doris Day Show for several seasons as Doris's dog, Nelson. And he appeared once on Here's Lucy as a dog named Bogie (at least I think that was Lord Nelson). And I'm sure I've seen him on other shows from the 60s and 70s.

And I believe that soon after his TV career ended he ran for public office.

I remember the Lucy ep. with Bogie, she had a litter of puppies and Kim and Craig were trying to find homes for them! Than Harry wanted the pups back because he thought they were full breed valuable dogs and wanted the reward that was offered, and it turned out they were mixed breed pups. I think that was what happened? I remember it being a really cute ep. though!
