Smile Christmas Episode ("Birds Gotta Fly, Fish Gotta Talk")

Ok, while most of this episode was spent in flashback, Santa still showed up at the end and therefore it's all we got for a Christmas/Holiday episode.

A few questions to talk about because I'm sort of sick of all the games!
(of course you see that has prevented me from posting in those threads )

Who would be kissing under the misltoe?
What would be on each of the castaways gift lists?
What might they put together for each other?
What would be each of the castaways favorite Christmas song?
And lastly, was that Skipper or was it really Santa?

(If you have anything else to add, feel free to add to the discussion. I'm just thinking we can be a bit more creative with our threads! )

1.Who would be kissing under the misltoe?
Me and Mary Ann. (I would get myself shipwrecked just for that!)

2.What would be on each of the castaways gift lists?
The Howells: Whatever they want since money is no object.
Gilligan: Ten pounds of licorish (that's probably not spelled right)
Skipper: A new boat
Ginger: Rock Hudson, but he won't fit in her stocking.(from what I've
heard about him, he wouldn't want to)
Mary Ann: An oven to make cooking easier
Professor: A way to fix the boat or transmitter so he doesn't have to look
so foolish.

3.What might they put together for each other?
The Howells could give money
Mary Ann could make some coconut cream pies
Ginger could put on a show
Gilligan could give Skipper his favorite pocket knife (Gilligan doesn't
need it anymore. Afterall, it is broken!)
The girls could give Skipper a statue of Cona.
The Professor could come up with a way to get them rescued.

4.What would be each of the castaways favorite Christmas song?
Well, some of mine are "Oh Holy Night" "Joy to the World" "HARK:The Herald
Angels Sing" "Sleighbells" etc, so I'll say those are their's too.

5.And lastly, was that Skipper or was it really Santa?
It couldn't have been Santa because he didn't leave them anything.
Therefore, it had to be Skipper, otherwise it would have been a
scary episode instead of a Christmas one.

And by the way, I hope everyone here has a very merry CHRISTmas!!!!

^you too!

I don't agree with you on the santa thing. I think it was supposed to be the real Santa. While it's true he didn't leave presents physically, I think he gave the castaways some restored hope and put them in a better Christmas spirit.

Kissing under the mistletoe:
Gilligan and Maryann (I don't think they need it, though)
Professor and Ginger
Howells
Skipper and Ginger (a Christmas "peck")

Yes, it was Santa!!!!

Gifts: I don't think in that episode #12 Christmas they would yet make each other gifts but I think they would for future Christmases. Gilligan would make Maryann jewelry,
Lovey might make Thirston some kind of outfit or equipment for his favorite sports, the
Skipper might make Gilligan something for fishing, etc. to make his work easier, it would be great if the Professor would write some new books for the castaways to read, Maryann would make some special clothes for everyone--just some ideas!
