Old School TV Member Frequent Poster Join Date: Mar 31, 2006 Posts: 104	Alex Keaton I thought it was a very orginal idea behind the show to make the Keaton character conservative and the parents liberal. It is usually the other way around. It added to the humor of the show. Hippie parents with a Goldwater/Nixon kid.
