Talking Cracked Christmas Quiz

Here's Cracked magazine's Christmas Quiz, by Eric Bohlen (published in 1999):

While roasting chestnuts on an open fire, who nips at your nose?
(A) Sharon Stone
(B) Hannibal Lecter
(C) Jack Frost

Santa Claus checks his list to find out ...
(A) ... which of the elves have been fooling around with Mrs. Claus behind his
back
(B) ... Cindy Crawford's home address
(C) ... who's naughty and who's nice

Frosty the Snowman was a jolly, happy soul with a corncob pipe and a button nose and ...
(A) ... a strapless evening gown
(B) ... a bitter attitude toward Rudolph
(C) ... two eyes made out of coal

What happened after Santa laid a finger beside his nose?
(A) He picked out a very special "present" and left it clinging to the fireplace
(B) He told the little boys and girls to "pull my finger"
(C) Up the chimney he rose

If you ever saw Rudolph's nose, what would you swear?
(A) Really, Officer .. I'm okay to drive
(B) I bet there's neon boogers in that thing!
(C) That it glowed

I'm a big fan of Thomas Kinkade's work too. I buy calendars, Christmas cards, phone address books, and other items with his work. Hallmark Stores carry a lot of his products. As you probably know, he's known as the, "Painter of Light". I read a profile of Kinkade in Reader's Digest a few years ago. There was no father in his life. I forget if it was through divorce or death. His mother had to work a lot. Growing up, he would come home to an empty, dark house. That's the reason why he paints light in all of the windows of his paintings.

Oh wow, I actually didn't know that that's really interesting. I love light, too. His pictures are always so cozy.

Default Rudolph and Frosty Christmas Trivia

Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer has been around since 1939, while Frosty
the Snowman made his first appearance in 1950. Here's the true story behind
each of these yuletide icons:

I love Thomas Kinkade's work as well. I read on his website that; Kinkade creatively fills his paintings with "love notes" by hiding the letter "N" in his paintings as tribute to his wife, Nanette. His daughters also find their own messages of love from their father as their names and images often appear in many of his paintings

I thought that was so sweet! Skater's Pond is one of my many favorites by him.

I have the Peter naked with a gift in front of his privates as an ornament. I have a few FG ornaments for my tree. I have "fun" ornaments that adorn our tree. We haven't done our tree yet, but when we do, I will post a pic.
