One of my least fave episodes.

Monika, the actress who played Sylvia on LITTLE HOUSE ON THE PRAIRIE played Tommy's girlfriend.

Alice kept mentioning her phone bill being high because of Tommy's constant phone calls to his girlfriend. I realize this was Phoenix, I have always lived in California and ever since I can remember when we made local calls they were always FREE. The phone company charged a monthly fee for unlimited local calls (they still do).

Alice was right, Tommy's girlfriend was a bit obnoxious. Getting a call 8 am is wrong. I also noticed the guy from the Partridge Family was in this episode.

Yes he was, thanx for mentioning that Brian. Dave Madden, played Earl was it? Anyhoo, he was one of Flo's many boyfriends.

The girlfriend was obnoxious. Tommy was too. Ahhhh, young love.

i livrin az where alice is set and i can tell you that around here they also have free local calls so i dont know what alice was griping about in that ep?

Actually, her name was Olivia Barash, not Monika. (her character name on Alice was Melissa Lloyd)

To Scoobiedoo30: The one where Tommy falls in love with Vera is "Vera Robs the Cradle", which should be on next Wednesday (12th) at 7

Our phone used to have a specific number of free local calls a month, but it was a high enough number that you'd have to make a ton of calls a day to use them up. And that was dialed calls, it didn't include incoming calls.

No need for apology. I realize reading my post, it does read as if I referred to the actress as Monika.
