Which "look" did you like more? - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I don't really know how to describe these, but I'll do my best..

Which one of Samantha's "looks" did you like more? The more innocent, early 60-ish housewife type look of the first two seasons, or the more sophisticated, classy-type look she had from season three-on?

Mine is probably the look from season 3 and on. IMO, she looked great in every single episode (well, NOT as much with the parted hair!), but looked her best in season 3.

What do you like more?

Her hairstyle from those middle years looked very good on her, from season 3 - 5.

I liked it when Sam began wearing more casual (yet stylish!) clothes from Seasons 2-5. She looked a bit too formal in her own home wearing those shirtwaist dresses all the time!!

Definitely longer hair, especially the straighter styles. And wearing some of the very early 1970s outfits with boots, WOW!

The late '60's/early '70's styles looked the best on Elizabeth, she looked younger. The early '60's styles made her look a lot older than she was at the time.

Elizabeth was a hottie on the final season of the show with longer hair, mini skirts and boots. The only thing I did not like about the final season that Samantha had more of a pissy attitude. I think much of it was Elizabeth not wanting to do the final season, having marital problems with Bill Asher (producer-husband) and was ready to move on. I only wished she would had done another series.
