Default Has anyone purchased their copy of Season 3 today?

I just bought my copy and I must say the packaging is very nice. I like that they used pictures inside this time. I haven't watched it yet but I'm excited to see some of my favorite episodes.

Here's hoping Season 4 comes out in 2008!

I bought my copy at my local Best Buy. I did check to see if they were carrying it in store (through their website) before I went to get it. I noticed that many locations did not stock it. The one near me usually does.

I knew Target wouldn't have it because they haven't had any of the previous sets. Strange they don't carry it because they carry other CBS/Paramount titles.

angel676, try checking for any near Best Buys on their website and it will tell you which stores have it. Besides that, if you have a Newbury Comics near you, they probably have it. Good Luck!

Oh! I almost forgot. I started watching it last night and I must say the quality is just as good as Seasons 1 & 2. I know the review said it has declined a bit but I didn't notice anything based on the 2 episodes I watched.

I watched "The Pact" and "Laverne's Arranged Marriage" both of which were great. I love "Laverne's Arranged Marriage" and forgot how good it was. Shirley is a riot in that one when she's telling Frank what Laverne's first baby will look like if she marries Vito.

Bought it yesterday. 'Airport '59' doesn't look as good as the other episodes and it has lots of white spots. Other than that all the other episodes look fine.

I'll have to check it out tonight. That is one of my favorite episodes. I hope it's not too bad. Jeez! This is freakin' dvd. If you can't get good quality on this, where can you get it???

I pre-ordered my copy through Amazon and am still waiting for it to come in the mail. I should get it by the end of the week or Monday.

For those who can't find a copy of the DVD set, try Borders and Barnes & Noble; or if you have an FYE in your area, I would try that. I usually look up all of the "entertainment" stores in the area and ask them if they have it before they go out on a search. If you're lucky enough to have an FYE nearby, they might be the best bet - they usually have the sets for $29.99($10 cheaper than most of the other stores), and always seem to have stuff like that on their release day.

Just FYI. Best Buy matches any price out there if it's cheaper than their price. Go to www.target.com and do a search for "Laverne & Shirley" in the DVD Movies section, and you'll see it advertised for $27.99 instead of Best Buy's price of $34.99. They will match the cheaper price. All you need to do is print a copy as proof of the cheaper price.

Here is the link (hopefully it'll work): http://www.target.com/Laverne-Shirle...eranues&page=1

The same can be done for Season 3 of "Happy Days", although their price is not as cheap:

Take care!

Default Got Mine!

No stores had it in my area (BFE) so I had to order on-line. It came in the mail yesterday, so it was nice to watch a few eps. after work. The quality was great and if some of the eps. are missing the original music or a Carmine song I don't mind at all. Twenty-four minutes out of a twenty-five minute episode is okay with me. It's been so long since I've seen these shows I couldn't tell what was missing anyway.

Bring on season four!!

I'm with you on that. I'd rather have full, complete episodes as much as anyone else, but if they have to edit some episodes due to the outrageous licensing costs, then I'll take what they're giving. The majority of the eps are unedited anyway and the further along in seasons we get, the less edits that'll have to be made since the show used less as the years went on.

And like you I say bring on Season four!
