Default My Problem with Bill Belechick last night

He has no problem going for it on 4th down when the Pats are up by 25 but when the Game is close and tied at 14, on 4th and 1 he KICKS A FG to go up
17-14???

That a B*TCH move and he is not the man I thought he was. Very surprised by that last night

It's called strategy. WHATEVER IT TAKES TO WIN. He wanted the lead, and took path of least resistance. This isn't Pop Warner. Who cares about anyone's feelings, wo wo wo feeeelings, wo wo wo feeeeeelings. Feelings, nothing more than feelings.

Toughen up. This is the big leagues.

But he contradicted himself, because he just said last week when asked why was he going for it on 4th down and he said because h doesn't like FG's. So if you don't like FG's then why was he kicking them? I can't believe he let the Eagles Defense put fear into his heart.

It's not that he doesn't like FGs all the time. He was referring to certain circumstances. When it's crunch time, and he wants the lead, he's getting it the safest way he can, and who can blame him for that. You can't talk about what's in Belichick's heart. He knew the Eagle's Defense was outstanding. The guy's a master at strategy. He made the calls he felt he needed to win the game, which he did, period.

No kidding. Belichick's damned if he does, damned if he doesn't.

Not that it matters Solomon, but Belichick's name. There's only one E, in the beginning. All I's after that. Easy to remember. Only one E.

But it wasn't crunch time, it was 14-14in the 2nd qtr. And I thought he was a master too when it came to defensive strategy, sure it didn't look like it last night.

They were supposed to "WE DON"T CARE WHAT WE HAVE TO DO TO WIN type of team and they didnt play like it on the field.

Thumbs up for

Tom Brady
The guy Samuel with the 2 Int's

Thumbs Down

Bill Belechick
Pats Defensive Line
FG kicker

I don't understand your last remark. You bet it was crunch time, being tied, with the Eagles as hot as hell, on their asses.

Crunchtime means late in the game. If the Pats were stopped on 4th down, the score would have still been 14-14

My husband is watching the replay game now, and says it was a 4th and goal (not 4th and 1) with about six yards to go for a touchdown. It wouldn't have that easy to score a TD. My husband says any coach with half a brain takes the 3 points, especially with a tie score and playing a team that's on fire.

Now it's 4th quarter, Philly's leading 28 to 24, and Belichick went for a 4th down and 4 yards to go, and passed up a FG and, we're losing. My husband told me to ask you what you think of that, and why you're not mentioning these other plays. You should hear him now Solomon.

If he had went for it earlier maybe he would have gotten the first down and wouldn;'t have been in a situation where they were down 4. They let the EAGLES come into their house and control the game-lol
