Default I have never in all my years as an eagles fan.....

Been more proud than I am today. Not one person in the world including their biggest fan (yours truly) gave them a chance last night. I went into the game saying lets just hope they don't humiliate themselves. I could tell right away they had a good plan in place. Offensively AJ made 2 mistakes & they cost us the game. If it wasn't for that, I would be celebrating the biggest upset ever in the nfl this morning. I can honeslty say that I woke up this morning with a smile on my face. My team prooved to me that they have alot of fight & most of all alot of heart. I have been bashing the coaching staff all year, but last night they had the team totally motivated & totally 100 % ready to play.

I loved the defenseive schemes last night, they shut down moss & stallworth, it was clear they were not going to let those 2 guys beat them. Brady had his numbers, but the eagles made him look mortal. I don't want to hear any talk today from anyone saying the pats played bad, anyone who has a clue who watched that game last night saw how good the eagles played & it was the eagles who made the pats play like that.

AJ feeley is a good QB. everyone makes fun of him, but he runs the offense smoothly, & is a really good Qb. i have no problem with him, he has done it in the past & last night was a really gutsy performance.

I take a whole lot of positives out of the game last night, it made me smile from head to toe watching that game. It prooved to me that the team does have heart & the coaches DO know what they are doing.

5-6.....ooh this sounds familiar...Believe it or not as bad as things have been the eagles are still alive, seattle & the giants @ the linc the next 2 weeks & anything is possible.

Last night they would have beaten any other team in football, they just fell short against arguably the best team in my generation, as I write this I am still smiling from head to toe

Wow! Thanks Mike. Your post made me feel very proud to be a Patriot's fan, since last night's game made you feel the proudest you ever have, in all your years as an Eagle's fan. I hope the Eagles win out, and maybe we'll meet up in the SB.

Thanks Mike. The Eagles were really something. I spent most of the night running into the other room, lol. I'm actually glad that last night's game played out the way it did. It makes some of the arrogant Pat's fans come back down to earth. The mediots too. Before the game yesterday, a local tv station had a poll asking, "By how many points do you think the Patriots will beat the Eagles?" My husband got mad because he's superstitious, and because of its in-your-face arrogance. The Patriots and Belichick themselves are humble, and they always give the opposing teams props, both at pre and post game discussions. It's just the local media here and a lot of the fans can be nauseating. Pride is one thing. Arrogance is quite another. You would think some of these fans were playing the games themselves, lol. The only time I get in someone's face is if I'm defending my teams against BS.

Differences between this season with the Eagles being 5-6 and last season as to why you won't see another 5 game winning streak

1. They have to play a Dallas team this year with a better record, and a different coach who doesn't have a problem with getting T.O. involved

2. Mcnabb will not be out for the remainder of the season so there will not be any backups coming into to save the season.

Never say never....they almost beat the pats in foxboro... the pats are by far the best team in football...if they can nearly beat them they can beat the cowboys.....

And the Eagles have a better chance of winning with Feeley than with McNabb. (And I can't believe I said that). QB Controversies are usually just a coaching staff unwilling to make a tough decision - usually involving an injury-ridden veteran vs. a healthy, quality, backup. And the decision's usually a lot clearer than the wringing of the throats involved would indicate.

like i said in another thread....the eagles offense runs smoother when anyone but mcnabb is the qb. I think it is more with the playcalling than a knock on dmac, but it is very interesting. This has happened on more than 1 occassion.

Did Moss catch a TD pass in the 2004 Divisional Game?
