The boys made a bet with Bag abt who could get dates. The loser(s) would run around Arnold's in their underwear at midnight.
First, I liked the Bag character, I would have liked to have seen him stick around for a lot more episodes/seasons then he was shown. Second, Richie, Potsie and Ralph showed up without girls/dates at Arnold's. Was that supposed to be the clincher as to who won the bet? To show up with girls? If so, then the boys should have known that Bag lost the bet too as he was at Arnold's without a date. If the bet was simply to be "honest" (which I highly doubt, who wouldn't lie?) then why didn't the boys ask Bag up-front how he did as far as getting a date? Bag was stupid for even mentioning the fact he got stood up after the boys ran around Arnold's in their underwear. Why not just stay quiet?

I think the last we see of "BAG" is in the 3rd Season Episode "Fonzie's New Friend" (aka the debut of Sticks Downing)
Correct me if I'm wrong. |

As to your second point...maybe because Bag overheard that they struck out, walking through the parking lot at Arnolds, waited for them to fess up then said -- "I struck out too"!!

^^^ Could be. It just didn't make sense for him to admit he struck out too. The guys never asked him and by him admitting he struck out, he too had to endure the embarrasment of being seen in his underwear.

Bag was one of those characters that the boys secretly liked but never admitted it. Actually the boys did find females but they were just being used. Its too bad the boys couldn't have told Bag that.
