Default I will admit that it was stupid for James to show the family the GUn like it was a

NEW COLOR TV SET-lol That's exactly how he took the Gun out the box. In way like-"LOOK WHAT I BOUGHT KIDS" The Family didn't need to see that

Also why would Florida ask James this dumb a$$ question?

"James if some broke in here would you actually use that gun on them??

What did she expect him to do when a Man invaded her husband's home? Give him coffee??-lol

One can show a gun to an intruder and be threatening without actually using it. I guess Florida was worried with James' anger, he could explode and use it.

I certainly wouldn't want to be on James' bad side - especially with a gun in the apartment!!

You are right, I think he needed to show Florida, but he didn't need to show the kids the gun like he just bought something "family-oriented"...LOL

Also, keeping it in the front closet (the only closet in the living room) was STUPID! Keeping it in the bedroom was the place for that thing.

I think that James showed the family the gun incase they were to find it one day, so it wouldn't be a shock.

But it ended up being a shock the way he brought it out. He was angry and out of anger brought out that gun.

James did pretty good job controlling his temper when cousin Cleatus came to town. James could have easily shot Cleatus for holding them hostage and attempting to take Michael as a hostage.

If I were James, I think that at the end of that whole situation Cleatus would have been missing a few toes and a knee cap.

This is true LOL, Do you blame him? James showed incredible restraint, knowing James he could have really kicked Cleatus ass.

You could tell James wanted to do more, but Florida held him back. When Cleatus grabbed Michael, James was going after Cleatus and Florida held James by the waste. I don't think James feared Cleatus holding a gun.
