With the holidays approaching my radio is playing less oldies and more Christmas music.
Does anyone else think that Christmas music really puts the spirit of the holidays in the air? Personally, as much as I like it... I think the radio station I listen to started playing it way to early! The began before Thanksgiving! Favorite songs? Songs that get on your nerves?

The Christmas music hasn't gotten to my nerves quite yet. It will, eventually, though....
Yesterday evening while working at JCPenney, I noticed every other song was a Christmas song. However, the Christmas songs were varied. They were a bunch of artists singing different types of related songs. I was actually glad, for the first time, we get a little variation. The same normal songs in the JCPenney playlist are getting on my nerves because most of them repeat quite often. It was good to hear something else varied into the playlist....the Christmas music. |

When I was in Old Navy yesterday, I heard this TERRIBLE remix of "Blue Christmas". It was such a disgrace to Elvis!
But one song I really wish the radios wouldn't play as often is "Christmas Shoes". Sure, I guess the meaning is really touching, but it seriously makes me want to cry every time I here it! |

Here in Dayton the lite rock station (WLQT FM 99.9) started playing sporadically on November 10 and full time Thursday, November 15. I have listened on occasion, and they tend to play the same songs over and over to the point that I get tired of them. I can name some songs I have not heard in years and would LOVE to hear now!

There's a station here (WNIC) that has been playing Christmas Music nonstop since Halloween I think it was...Way too early, but I love it after Thanksgiving. So from now until the big day I'm happy with that.
