Does this annoy the HELL out of anyone else when using the Phone?? - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

1. Someone calls you at 11:09pm and you were out of the room maybe in the bathroom and you call back at 11:16pm and GET NO ANSWER??

2. Someone with a Private Number calls you and you were not available and they don't LEAVE A MESSAGE?

Any one of these things get under anyone elses SKIN?

All the time - that's why I don't pick up the phone most of the time.

It doesn't bother me too much. Sometimes people will call on there way out the door to see if you're home so they can stop by. We do this with my mother-in-law.

Nope. If they didn't leave a message, oh well.

Also, I have Caller ID number block which means anyone with PRIVATE NUMBER, HAS TO RELEASE THEIR NUMBER IN ORDER FOR THEIR CALL TO COME THROUGH.

Well since I'm a guy I have to accept block numbers because if I leave my number to a girl on the dating service, she will have her number blocked until she talks and get to know me and if I didn't acce[pt blocked calls I maybe missing out on a nice attractive female.l

Well, you need to accept that fact abt the private number appearing, since you are dealing with online dating services. Secondly, if they don't leave a message it is probably because they don't feel comfortable leaving a message. My boyfriend is like that, he hates answering machines and refuses to leave a message, unless it is important.

Yeah someone called this morning at 11:30am under a private number, which was a ODD TIME but I stilll missed an opportunity to get to know a New Girl-lol

I don't think I would ever call someone for the first time at 11:30 in the morning

That's me. I never leave messages unless absolutely necessary. I hate talking to a machine.

I hate talking on the phone so I don't pick it up anways. We have caller ID and don't answear if it's: tollfree (

Yes, but mostly my family are the only ones who call me that late. I know what you mean about calling nearly minutes later and not getting a response. It's, like, "You JUST had your phone and now don't answer???" Weird...

Oh, I screen all my calls. I especially never pick up "Unknown" or private numbers. I figure if they are a real person and really wanna get ahold of me, they'd leave a message. Otherwise, the call isn't an authentic one for me.
