Default Characters from a drama or sitcom who had a distinct style of dressing...

wore something in particular; had their own style, etc.

FONZIE from Happy Days: Leather jacket, t-shirt and jeans with boots. He wore that ALWAYS unless there was a scene of him in the hospital as a patient, etc.

BTW, when did Fonzie go from wearing a white t-shirt to wearing a black one?

LAVERNE DEFAZIO from Laverne & Shirley: Always had to have the letter "L" on her blouses, shirts, tops.

URKEL from Family Matters: Wore those high pants (floods LOL), suspenders, over-sized glasses, dress shirt and bow tie.

DENISE HUXTABLE from The Cosby Show: I have no clue what she was trying to be but she looked like she got her clothes from a thrift store.

PHEOBE (SP?) from Friends - again, like Denise, looks like Goodwill blewup!!
And I'd love to hear the metal detector at the airport go off with all those rings!!

I read that all of the characters on the syndicated episodes of "Mama's Family" had a set color scheme for their clothes. Mama always wore shades of blue, Vint always wore brown/khaki, Naomi wore jellow, Iola had pink, and Bubba had green. Beverly Archer actually hates the color pink to this day because she had to wear it so much lol

Gilligan's Island: The Skipper, Gilligan and of course the Professor wore the same thing. Ginger wore glamor gowns. Mary Ann wore the infamous tight shorts. The Howells were always dressed up.

Mork - his striped long-sleeved T-shirts and suspenders. Oh yeah, and don't forget the hightops.

On "Three's Company," Jack always seemed to be in yellow boxer shorts (with giraffes on them) whenever he wouldn't have pants on. Janet frequently wore oversized sweatshirts to sleep in, while Chrissy wore nighties. Mr. Furley almost always had an ascot on, usually with a leisure suit. Mrs. Roper was the muumuu queen, of course.

I will agree with Urkel and Denise, and Ralph Furley, also let me add Ed Norton to that bunch. Always had the vest and hat.

NELLIE OLSEN from Little House on the Prairie: This isn't clothing but she always had her hair in curls...ALWAYS!

The Laura Ingalls character always wore braids up until her character reached the age of maturity and she began seeing Almanzo, her soon to be husband.

Blair Warner from The Facts of Life- while the other girls tended to wear jeans, Blair always wore a skirt with boots or high heels.

The Golden Girls seemed to like the padded shoulder look.
