I'm glad she went to the bar at the end. When she turned down drinks with the new ADA, I turned to my husband and said, "Plot Convienence Playhouse Presents: The Cure to Alcoholism in One Easy Episode!" I was relieved that they portrayed it as it is: an addiction and a disease.

Episode was good. I almost found Kate tolerable in this episode. Almost. I felt bad for the cop. I may be a minority here, but I thought the judgement on him was too harsh. I think CD's husband is creep-EEee! I'd toss him out. Sorry.

I agree with Coily2 about her going to the bar at the end of the show. I've watched a few too many soap operas and one thing for soap operas, they do deal with alcoholism for the most part well. I'm getting too attached to this show for them not to deal with it properly. I didn't think about it until afterwards, but when she flipping through the channels it would've been funny if she flipped to FOL. Jinny's minor storyline was good, added to the alcoholism storyline, and didn't detract from the main storyline.

I also liked the main storyline. It was by no means cut and dry and it did allow for emotions to come through. I understand more from where Kate is coming from (I've had leadership beaten into me in college!)and she doesn't bother me nearly as much and Bonnie Bedelia can act. Descent episode and already looking foward to next week and of course on Friday when I can see it again!!

i thought it was really great and i LOVED nancy's hair. She looks SO pretty with it like that (actually, she could be wearing some old dirty clothes and her hair could be totally gross and she'd still look pretty)

I can't wait for it on friday. i am of course taping it.

I only caught the last few minutes but I thought the same thing about FOL when Jinny was flipping thru the channels at the end of the show. I also noticed Lifetime was pushing some sort of 'How well do you know Nancy McKeon' thing on their website at the end of the show. They must've caught on that they've got themselves a tv star in Ms. McKeon.

I'm sure I'll have further comments after watching the full episode on tape.

Me too! I was about to say something about it to my mom, but then she saw the Weather Channel (She loves the weather channel!) and I forgot what I was about to say.
