This was really hard for me to do. I went with Murphy Brown. It was in the top 10 for 5 seasons, top 20 for 7 seasons, and won numerous awards, including 5 Emmy's for Candice Bergen for outstanding lead actress (which was a record and could have been more if Candice wasn't so considerate-LOL). It showed how a 40-year old famous woman journalist can stop drinking, hold her own, and be liberal. She got her way, she always stayed strong. The writing in this show was better than no other, and it stayed that way its entire run. it took risks, it did storylines never before done on television, and it showed for the first time a woman being tough, liberal, and famous all at the same time.

Others that would come close would definitely be The Wonder Years, because it showed the nostalgia of a kid growing up and dealing with life's rites of passages, done by no other show, and Roseanne, because it showed a dysfunctional family on television with mother in charge.

My favorite's not up there! It's REBA!!! But the only show that's one of my major faves up there is Home Improvement, so I'll vote for that.

I like Reba too, it's in my top 25. But I can't include every show, I didn't do more than 50. And I was trying to make it a mix of shows in my top 100 and shows I don't like personally that are critically acclaimed/popular.

I'd vote for Twilight Zone but somehow it didn't make the list.

^ Neither did Barney Miller, The Bob Newhart Show or Newhart, or even WKRP for that matter. Those MTM-produced shows in the 1970s and 1980s were the best.

It's obvious that you can't include every show in a poll like this so the best solution would be to include another option such as other in future polls

The best show of all time is probably All In The Family, but my vote goes to Buffy The Vampire Slayer - since that is my all time favorite.

There were just too many of my favorites listed which made it a hard choice. But I went with All In The Family.

From the list, I voted for The Andy Griffith Show, I can't believe The Amazing Race, American Idol, Desperate Housewives & Survivor made the list.

I think Happy Days and The Wonder Years are probably the best ones on this list. Who's the Boss? is an awesome show too and should be on the list.

All in the Family! It was different. Nowadays, with all the political correctness, that show wouldn't have made it to the screen.
