I don't think this has been posted before but there have been some interesting developments in the Rachel Cooke case.
Michael Keith Moore who was already found guilty of other murder charges and is serving a life in jail sentence had confessed to killing Rachel Cooke. However after his case was brought to trial he pled not-guilty. They dropped the case, and were planning a civil trial. Anyway, he now claims he lied about the case. Still no question answered but here's some links anyway. http://www.kxan.com/Global/story.asp?S=5653329 http://www.kvue.com/news/special/sto....cd1a95c4.html |

Thanks for the update. I do remember watching this segment once or twice on Lifetime. It was one of the newer ones. Hopefully if he really did do it he can lead authorities to her body so her family can bury her.

wow, not much discussion on this one.
I wonder if she had been (unbeknownst to her) stalked for some time before her disappearance. I think the same thing may have happened to Tara Calico. Unfortunately, there is a certain risk for women who go out running, jogging, biking, walking, etc. If a perp thinks a victim will be at a certain place at a certain time, it can become a crime of opportunity. This is one occasion where rural settings can be more dangerous than urban ones. |
